Barrister Sole – What does that mean?
A Barrister is a member of one of the two classes of lawyer found in many common law jurisdictions with split legal professions.
Barristers specialise in Courtroom advocacy, drafting legal pleadings and documents and providing expert legal opinions. They can be contrasted with Solicitors, who are in general office-based lawyers.
The past 35 years has brought me into contact with a wide range of people resolving legal issues for clients requiring advice, guidance and legal solutions.
I have extensive Court experience, and I am very familiar with the day-to-day workings of the District Court. I possess strong analytical abilities, together with effective oral and written communication skills.
I have appeared in Court on an almost daily basis over 3 decades. During this time, I have established sound professional interactions with judiciary, colleagues, prosecuting authorities, Ministry of Justice staff, together with stakeholders.
